  1.             Password Changer for NetWare V 1.2

  3. For the past year I have looked for a simple Windows program that
  4. would allow me to quickly change Novell NetWare passwords. Since
  5. I could not find just what I wanted, Password Changer for Windows
  6. was born. The program is written in Visual Basic and makes calls
  7. to four DLLs from the NetWare C Windows SDK. 
  8. I am a LAN Administrator for a large multi-server NetWare
  9. network, and the Password Changer  has made the boring task
  10. changing passwords very easy and painless.

  12. Requirements:
  13.      Novell NetWare 2.x, 3.x
  14.      Windows 3.x
  15.      VBRUN100.DLL   (Visual Basic Run Time)
  16.      NW*.DLL        (All DLLs files included with NWPC.EXE)
  17.      ENOUGH TRUSTEE RIGHTS:
  18.           You must be a Supervisor or equivalent
  19.                     or
  20.           Manager of user account to be able to change passwords.

  37. Since I dislike crippled SHAREWARE software or persistent nagging
  38. screens, this program is fully functional. The only hint of its
  39. SHAREWARE nature is discovered after pressing the ABOUT button.

  42. Password Changer was developed and tested on a Novell NetWare
  43. 3.11 NOS using IPX 3.10 and NETX 3.26.

  48. Installation:
  49. Copy all files to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM
  50. Run NWPC.EXE
  51. Make sure you don't have older versions of NWCORE.DLL,
  52. NWWRKSTN.DLL,NWBIND.DLL,NWSERVER.DLL or NWCONN.DLL in you path.
